i have some important matters to discuss;

firstly:
there are literally no words to fully express how grateful i am for all of the support and love i've received from everyone on dA. even though i don't post as often as i used to, coming back and seeing i still get favorites and comments regardless of how sparingly i do post, means the world to me, and inspires me to keep going. i love you all :heart:

secondly:
my opinion of dA has dramatically changed. i feel as though since there were so many stylistic changes and website reconstructions that it weakened the popularity and overall confused a lot of artists (myself included) affiliated with this site. this is probably the biggest reason as to why i don't post a lot on here. a lot of my photos are posted on my tumblr.

thirdly:
the majority of my photographs, recently anyways, have been photo shoots with acquaintances of mine from school and such. not that i have any problem with taking photographs for them, they're not necessarily ones i would post on here since they don't have the concepts i use in self portraits and whatnot.

and fourthly:
i'm a college girl nowww. :')  i'm attending farmingdale state university for a fall semester in liberal arts for one semester, then transferring to stony brook university to major in photography and minor in business. my cousins and i have this idea we have in mind as to what we want to do with our lives so...let's see what happens.

that being said, if anyone has any questions or would like to contact me in anyway, email me at

jessicabrooke.photography@yahoo.com.

again, thank you all so very much for your constant support, and i hope that everything is going well.

Your plans sound quite exciting even though you're not telling us too much about them! ;P Studying liberal arts and photography sounds really cool - I hope it will be fun and interesting!
